The symbolism of a snake is multifarious. A snake’s meaning can range from fertility to death to protection. The meaning of the snake depends on its audience. I aim for my art installation to hold the same ambiguous, long-forgotten meaning of the snake in the hopes that my viewers will imprint themselves privately upon my work in their own way, just as I have.
