Artist Statement

Using long exposure photography and light painting, my Capstone explores how lighting can affect the way we look at a photo emotionally. With the different color lighting, I explore what a person might be feeling internally instead of what is being shown physically. Some photos do not have light painting in order to show how lighting can contribute to a more expressive meaning.
